The December PUC decision did not reflect the quite divergent views of the two Commissioners and no vote was recorded. Central Maine Power did not meet their evidentiary burden to ensure smart meters were safe and yet the Commission\u2019s decision, reflecting a lower standard than the Court or law allows, said the meters were \u201csafe enough.\u201d The filed Brief can be found <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mainecoalitiontostopsmartmeters.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Law-Court-Brief-Final-reduced-5-12-15.pdf\">here<\/a> and accompanying 10 MB Appendix (much of the content dictated by the Court) is found <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mainecoalitiontostopsmartmeters.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Appendix-Final-Reduced-5-12-15.pdf\">here<\/a>. The appellee\u2019s Brief must be filed by June 30<sup>th<\/sup> and then appellants have 14 days to file a response brief.
